The la National Conference on Real Estate Research mal will be held between 04-05 October 2019 at İTÜ Faculty of Architecture, Taşkışla Building under the leadership of İTÜ Real Estate Development Graduate Program and ITU Center for Environment and Urbanization. The aim of the conference is to encourage research in the real estate field and to contribute to increase the quality and quantity. At the same time, it is the establishment of a national platform by gathering people, institutions and organizations that conduct academic studies and researches.
Although the real estate sector has started to be institutionalized in the early 2000s, there is no academic based platform for real estate research at the national level.
The aim of the conference, which will be held jointly by ITU Real Estate Development Graduate Program and ITU Center for Environment and Urban Planning on 4-5 October 2019, is to ensure that public real estate researches are brought to the foreground. Supporting the development of academic research in the field is critical for University-Sector cooperation. The conference has two main objectives. The first is to encourage research in this field and to contribute to increase the quality and quantity. The second one is to establish a national platform by gathering people, institutions and organizations engaged in academic studies and research in the field of real estate. The National Real Estate Research Conference, which will be held on 4-5 October 2019, is planned to continue annually.
