Leica BLK 360 "More Than a Laser Scanner"

0

In almost every sector we hear a lot about worlds equipped with 3D, BIM and virtual reality. Spatial analysis, automatic feature recognition, field planning and 3D design model, etc. can be replicated. There is much to be gained from 3D, including advanced simulations (plant, traffic, public services, parallel processes and automation for production and construction). But the important thing is to use the term "Virtual Reality" haphazardly, while the reality within it is to convert the technical word into technically usable language. Yes, up until now our laser scanners have offered this possibility INTERGEO 2017 BLK 360 is equipped with all the user's convenience and is designed to handle our workflows.

Autodesk and Leica Geosystems is collaborating on a scanning hardware - software solution that is sensitive, accessible, fairly light, but surprisingly low in cost. BLK 360 is one of Autodesk products RECAP pro "Reality Capture" software makes almost all your workflow perfect. It promises to offer you office comfort on your tablet. In addition to these, Autodesk software Revita, Infraworks, Navisworks and Civil 3D 10 different types of writing, including direct data transfer, multiplies as another increment.

How is it working?

A laser scanner calculates 3D XYZ coordinates with 3 measurements (horizontal angle, vertical angle, and a slope distance to the point measured from the scanner center). This is referred to as a "polar" measurement. Add some trigonometry to get XYZ or Cartesian coordinates quickly.

In simple terms, the three-dimensional accuracy of a laser scanner is affected by the accuracy of polar measurements. The BLK360 has 3D point sensitivities of 6mm at 10m and 8mm at about 20m (1/3 "at 33 and about 1/3" at 66). The BLK360 is capable of 360,000 measurements in seconds with full HDR images.

The first step of the scan process takes about 30 seconds and the images are captured through the Recap Mobile Professional or Leica BLK360 controller application so that the operator can easily control it. Plus, when you're connected to an iPad Pro in addition to 64GB of internal memory, you have as much memory as your tablet's storage space.

Thermal Camera Integration

BLK360 comes with built-in FLIR® Thermal Imaging Sensor. The BLK360 captures the global HDR image, and in 30 seconds it also produces a 70 ° V x 360 ° HZ thermal image panorama. But wait, there is more! The infrared sensor does not only give you a color scale, it is calibrated at +/- 1 ° C, and it also contributes to your excellent realism for energy audits.

Weight

Despite its sturdy aluminum body, BLK360 is under 1 kilogram. A typical laser scanner with a diameter of 100 mm and a height of 165 mm is a little easier to carry.

Screening Test Results

The BLK360 can be set to capture more or fewer measuring points according to the requirements of your task. Think of the scan resolution as a table that you will be measuring at a distance of 10 meters (33 ')

Horizontally and vertically,

Low = 20 mm (0.8 & quot;)

Medium = 10 mm (0.4 & quot;)

You can collect data with high = 5 mm (0.25 ") sensitivity

High resolution scanning takes up 1GB of space between 50-80 million recorded in 3 minutes.
