Digitalization is the use of digital technologies to change a business model and provide new revenue and value-producing opportunities; it is the process of moving to a digital business.

With digitalization happening around us, surveying becomes easier and projects more efficient. Workers in the field survey create their own projects and have it automatically synced into their GIS tools. This way of generating, processing, and using data prepares you for the future and allows for companies to become more well-rounded and appealing to their (new) customer base.

Meet marXact

Founded in 2017, marXact started with two brothers-in-law entering the well-established market of GNSS surveying with a mission to make universal and cost-efficient measurement solutions available to any person, any company, on any device, and using any app.

So they’ve made that happen. Easy, intuitive soft- and hardware at an interesting price point. And with typically high Dutch quality standards.

The main product is the UNI-GR1, a completely universal high-precision GNSS receiver. With its rugged design, powers of 4+ constellations, and multiple frequencies, it is capable of providing users centimetre accuracy in many environments. Due to its open interfaces, the UNI lets you connect to your preferred device and connection method, even from other suppliers. The receivers support coordinate systems from all over the world.

The UNI-Cloud gets you your data from and to the field in no time, connects to the UNI-Cloud API, and allows for remote support. UNI-Connect is the easiest surveying software on the market and works on any device with a browser and WiFi, its user-friendliness feels like surveying and stake-ing out like a game.
And by using the RTK-Premium, centimetre accuracy gets achieved thanks to the power of over 2,250 base stations all over the world.

Universal and cooperative

CEO and Co-founder Tommy van der Heijden: “Our mission is to make surveying available to everyone, no matter how experienced you are or how much money you have. We have created a universal receiver and our very own software, just to be able to support an individual company how they like and need. You can integrate our solution(s) with products from another company, since it’s all about supporting you best. We believe that that is the way forward in this business, how cooperative organizations in this industry should be.”

In a nutshell, marXact is a young, start-up, founded to develop and produce universal and cost-efficient GNSS receivers with high accuracy. Made in Holland, used worldwide.
