Who is Gexcel?
Gexcel started its business in 2007 with the aim to transform geomatics scientific achievements into high-tech products and services for wide application areas. The first technology transfer agreement between the European Commission Joint Research Centre (EC-JRC) and Gexcel started in 2007 with Reconstructor® to introduce on the market the LiDAR technology for the international nuclear plant monitoring. Nowadays, Reconstructor® is one of the most appreciated 3D point cloud post-processing software on the market.
The valuable collaboration with the EC-JRC is now continuing with the technology transfer agreement focused on the co-development and distribution of the HERON® mobile mapping system.
