Smart City Technologies Congress of the Future

World Cities Congress-WCC, Istanbul 2019. 250 participants from 12 countries will meet at Yenikapi Eurasia Show and Art Center on 13-15 March.

What is the concept of Smart City?

The concept of Smart City is based on the main idea of ​​creating sustainable cities by combining information technologies with city management processes. From environment to health, security, disaster management, waste management to effective use of resources in all aspects of human life and technology, with the help of technologies to create a new lifestyle is used.

The topic of the congress will be Smart 4. The discussions will focus on technology, mobility, strategy, sustainability, environment, transportation, energy, entrepreneurship and data.

In addition to speeches and panels, the congress also includes events and competitions. You can apply to Sustainbul Ideathon competition with Sustainable Solutions for Istanbul until 5 March.

WHAT HAPPENED IN THE WORLD CITIES CONGRESS 2018?

World Cities Congress Istanbul 2018, organized with the organization of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, opened its doors to 12 countries, 120 cities, 102 technology producing companies and more than 140 speakers. More than 10 thousand industry professionals took part in this giant technology platform where ideas, projects and designs on how our world will be shaped in the future are discussed. 4 keynote speakers made their speeches in the congress and smart cities planning was discussed in 12 sessions in which different topics were discussed.
